Whether you are a nonprofit organization, school, church, researcher, or artist, securing funding can often feel like an uphill battle. The work you do matters — you see the lives being impacted every day. But finding the right opportunities and writing proposals that stand out can quickly become overwhelming.

That’s why I started Impact First Grants. My mission is simple: to help community-focused organizations and individuals secure the resources they need so they can keep doing the work that matters most. I believe every strong program and creative vision deserves the chance to thrive — and with the right grant strategy, that’s possible.

Why I Started Impact First Grants

Over the years, I’ve worked alongside organizations of all sizes — from grassroots nonprofits to schools and faith-based programs. I’ve seen firsthand how much time and energy leaders put into serving their communities, often while juggling limited staff and tight

budgets.

Too often, grant writing gets pushed to the back burner because it feels too complex, too time-consuming, or too uncertain. That’s where I come in. I created Impact First Grants to take some of that weight off your shoulders and to serve as a trusted partner in your funding journey.

At its heart, this work isn’t just about writing proposals. It’s about telling your story, showcasing your impact, and connecting you with funders who believe in what you do.

Who I Serve

Impact First Grants is built to support those who put impact first. That includes:

  • Nonprofits working on outreach, basic needs, youth development, or arts and culture.

  • Schools seeking funding to expand opportunities for students through enrichment programs, innovation, and specialized services.

  • Faith-based organizations running community programs like food pantries, afterschool support, or youth initiatives.

  • Researchers and artists pursuing projects that advance knowledge, creativity, and community engagement.

If your work is making a difference in people’s lives, I want to help you find the resources to sustain and grow it.

What I Offer

Every organization’s funding needs are unique, but most fall into a few key areas. Impact First Grants offers services designed to meet you where you are:

  • Prospect Research → Identifying the funders who align best with your mission.

  • Grant Writing → Crafting compelling, persuasive proposals that highlight your impact.

  • Editing & Reviewing → Strengthening applications you’ve already written, ensuring clarity and polish.

  • Grant Reporting → Turning outcomes and data into stories that keep funders engaged.

  • Capacity-Building Workshops → Training teams to feel more confident navigating the grant process.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your approach, my goal is to provide the tools, strategies, and support to help you succeed.

What Makes Impact First Grants Different

There are plenty of grant writers and consultants out there. So, what makes this work different?

  • Personalized Partnership → I don’t just write and move on. I get to know your mission, your challenges, and your vision for the future.

  • Plain Language Support → Grant writing doesn’t have to feel intimidating. I break down the process into clear steps so you always know where you stand.

  • Focus on Impact → Funders want to see numbers, but they also want to understand stories. I help you weave data and narrative together in a way that resonates.

  • Experience Across Sectors → My background in community partnerships, education, and public service gives me a unique perspective on what funders look for and how organizations can stand out.

Simply put: I care about your mission as much as you do, and I want to see it succeed.
